Biography
About Ahmed Ali Khan

Ahmed Ali Khan was born and raised in Kurnool, the son of Mehmood Ali Khan. He built his career in business in the city, where he continues to live and work.
His entry into electoral politics came through the Indian National Congress, on whose ticket he contested the Kurnool Assembly constituency in 2014 and the Kurnool Lok Sabha constituency in 2019. Across both candidacies he declared no criminal cases of any kind — a record he has maintained throughout his public life.
He later joined the YSR Congress Party, where he now serves as President of Kurnool City and Vice President of the party’s Kurnool district unit. In September 2025 he was among the senior party figures present in Kurnool when leaders from the BJP, TDP and Congress joined the YSR Congress Party in the presence of party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
His work is centred on Kurnool city itself — its wards, its neighbourhoods, and the everyday concerns of the families who live in them.
